After Apple’s mega event, it seems we can soon see a much more powerful version of Xiaomi’s flagship killer Mi5. The new phone is to be known as Xiaomi Mi5s most probably. Xiaomi Mi5s was spotted earlier this week, it was running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 821, unlike its predecessor Mi5 which has Snapdragon 820. Xiaomi Mi5s processor is clocked at 2.4GHz. The Mi5s is expected to come with an onboard storage of 256 GB with no memory expansion slots. Along with this, 6 GB of RAM and a massive 3,490 mAh battery is also expected to be part of the package. Other specifications include 144.5×69.2×7.2mm and weigh 147 grams. The alleged Mi5s is seen with a USB Type-C. It comes with support for Qualcomm fast charge 3.0. As for the camera, the smartphone seems to have a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 4-megapixel front camera. The smartphone is also expected to support 4K video recording. Mi5s will have a 5.15-inch full-HD display and comes with a 3D Touch feature. The dual-SIM device will support GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, 4G, and VoLTE apart from NFC connectivity option.
We advise readers to take the above information about the alleged Xiaomi Mi5s as just a leak info/rumor since nothing has been confirmed by Xiaomi as of now. The credibility of the sources cannot be independently verified.
