Motorola released it’s new device Moto G4 in India. Although Moto G4 was showcased alongside Moto G4 Plus back in May, only Moto G4 Plus was released at that time. The Moto G4 Plus is priced at Rs 13,499 for its 2GB RAM/ 16GB storage variant, and Rs. 14,999 for its 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant.
The fourth Gen smartphones from Motorola have almost similar specifications. Both have a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display and Gorilla Glass 3 and supports dual sim cards. Both devices runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 out of the box and are powered by Snapdragon 617 (MSM8952) with Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 SoC alongside Adreno 405 GPU. Moto G4 Plus comes with 3 & 2 GB RAM whereas Moto G4 has only 2 GB RAM variant. Moto G4 also lacks the fingerprint scanner which was present in G4 Plus Home Button.
Moto G4 comes with a 13 megapixel primary (rear) camera which PDAF apart from a dual-LED colour-balancing flash. The Moto G4 Plus has a 16-megapixel rear camera, with laser autofocus. Both the devices have 5-megapixel front-facing cameras. The 16GB of built-in storage on the Moto G4 is expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB).
