HYVE is a mobility startup based in New Delhi, on Wednesday 15th June 2016, it launched two devices for the Indian smartphone market HYVE BUZZ and HYVE STORM. Both the devices are 4G enabled on various bands across India and will be available on 22nd June via Amazon India, Flipkart, and Gadgets 360. The BUZZ is priced at Rs 13,999 while the less specs smartphone The Storm is priced at Rs 8,499. Both the devices HYVE BUZZ and HYVE Storm have dual sim compatibility with 4G available on both the sims and both the devices runs on Stock Android 5.1 Lollipop with an upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow very soon in the near future.
The Hyve Buzz comprises of a 5.5 inch full HD display with 2.5D Arc Glass Display with an amazing octa-core MediaTek MT6753 SOC clocked at 1.5GHz and a 3 GB of RAM. Talking about the camera we get 13 megapixel rear camera with Sony Exmor RSTM sensor with dual LED flash & dual pixel for low light imaging, whereas the front facing camera is of 5 megapixels. Hyve Buzz comes with an inbuilt 16 GB storage which can be extended via MicroSD card (upto 128 GB), the company is also providing a 32 GB memory card with the device. Buzz following the trend also features a fingerprint scanner on the rear with an innovative feature, Touch2Call feature which allows users to set up speed dials according to a fingerprint.
On the other hand The Hyve Storm features a 5 inch HD display enabled with MediaTek MiraVision, 2 GB of RAM with 16 GB on board storage just like Buzz which can also be extended with a MicroSD card (upto 80 GB). Storm bears MediaTek 6735 quad-core SoC clocked at 1.3GHz. It has a 13 megapixel rear camera with an ISOCELL sensor, PDAF, and dual-LED flash along with 5 megapixel front camera.
The Hyve Buzz has been launched in Twilight Black, Midnight Blue, and Sunset Wine colour variants, while the Hyve Storm has been launched in Snow White and Mystic Grey colour variants
Both smartphones come with complimentary pick-up-and-drop service across 42,000 pin codes in the country, and 1-year pre-bundled insurance of accidental damage.
