Recently LG announced that LG V20 successor to amazing V10 is going to be launched in San Francisco on September 6. Not only that LG also boasted that V20 is going to be the first android smartphone to run Android 7.0 Nougat. Below are the first renders of LG V20 gathered by Android Authority and @OnLeaks.
As it we can see in the picture, V20 seems to be a modular phone as well. Just like LG G5, LG V20 showcases a small button in the lower right side which can be a module release button and also the lower part looks like a removable piece. Although there’s no news about the modules it’s going to have, if it’s a modular phone. Maybe that’s just a button for quick camera launch. We will have to wait till it’s launch to see, what it is exactly.
These pictures also reveal that the camera is likely to feature a hump like Nexus 6P and our source suggests that the handset will be 7.7 mm thick and additional 1.1 mm thick over camera module. The V20 also appears to have dual rear cameras, something we have already seen in LG G5. V20 seems to be having metallic build unlike LG G5.
Moving forward and around the device, we can see volume keys on left side. A 3.5 mm audio jack along with a microphone and USB type C port just before the speaker. Is LG V20 is missing the power button ? – No, leaks suggest that power button is at the back with fingerprint sensor over it.
As for the specifications, there’s not much to be shared. A Quad HD display (measuring probably 5.7 inches), along with 821 processor, 4GB/6GB of RAM, 32/64 GB of storage, type C USB, fast charging, soem mods just like LG G5. Expected colours in which we think it’s going to be available are Grey, Gold and Silver.
